Security measures

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. Sessions use signed, http-only cookies. Access to each action is checked on the server against your role. Every money movement is recorded in a double-entry ledger that cannot be quietly edited.

Your rights

You can request access to your personal data, ask for corrections, and ask about how long records are kept. Group financial history is retained for accountability and to meet legal duties.

Data location and transfers

Where your data is stored depends on how your group deploys Kibina. If you run it yourself, you control the location. Confirm this matches Rwandan data-protection requirements for your group.
